To install the CFW simply push it down onto the steel index pin, making sure the shiny aluminum index marks are down. At this point the drive motor shaft may not be in contact with the rubber drive O-ring surrounding the CFW. Taking care not to touch the filters, spin the CFW and observe for any flat spot along the edge of the wheel. If a low spot is detected, move the motor drive shaft against the wheel at this point. Adjust the motor drive shaft against the O-ring until it is compressed approximately 30% to 50%. Tighten the screws to the motor. Note that if the tension is too loose, the wheel may slip (especially in low temperatures). Blow the inside of the camera clear with compressed air, and replace the front cover. Power up the camera. The software will automatically detect the CFW.
