This is a horrible image. The seeing was bad, the moon was out, and the L file was corrupted with some sort of unknown artifact. As a testimony to digital post processing, not all was lost! Celestron Fastar 8 at f/1.95, PixCel 237. This LRGB image was assembled from a 600 second (five by 120 seconds Track and Accumulate) monochromatic file, and composite RGB images (each five by 180 seconds Track and Accumulate). The RGB exposure ratio was 1:1:1. All images were unguided at -28 degrees Celsius, using the AP900. Image assembled in Adobe Photoshop. Slight gaussian blur added to the RGB layer, and the L layer was modified with unsharp masking. RGB files registered in CCDOPS v4.0.
