The floor is shown here, finished at last.  As it turns out, the frame was not completely square.  The plywood overhung in a few places, but I simply cut it off with a saw.  After the exterior is attached, any small defects will be well hidden. Getting the hole in the middle of a sheet for the pier to slip through was a challenge.  It aligned well, and does not touch the pier in any place.  The LeSuer Astropier will add about three feet to the height of the pier, allowing the telescope to peer neatly over the walls (I hope).  The door and studs go up next.
