LeSEUR ASTROPIER IN PLACE
Here is the Astropier after being mounted on the concrete column.
Leveling of the Astropier is accomplished with the three bolts at bottom.
The Astropier weighs over 100 pounds; I foresee no need to fill it with
sand. The Astrophysics 900 GOTO mount and optical tube assembly should
raise the height of the pier to just below wall level. Some height
adjustment can be made by raising the Astropier using the leveling bolts.
The rope seen at right is in place to keep the roof from blowing off during
construction of the roll off rails.
